Is Makers Mark any good?

Hey guys..

I'm thinking about buying a new bourbon.. now I'm relatively new to the bourbon world, as I've only had Jim beam, Jim Beam small batch, wild turkey and Woodford..

I personally LOVED woodford the most out of all of thm, but I really can't afford it.... plus I thought i'd explore the territory more..

what's your opinion on Makers Mark.... and would you have any other suggestions?

also to Add details to any other answerers or whatever... this is to drink straight, or on the rocks... I NEVER mix whiskey with things, unless of course it's a cheap whiskey like jim beam or jack daniels..

Love the attitude, experimentation. check out Jack Daniels(yes I know what you said), but go for the single barrel, it's quite pricey but by god worth it. Also, try drinking it without ice just chilled a little in the fridge or ice bucket and to really blow your mind, drink it from a copita shaped glass or wine glass, you won't beleive the difference it makes.
