Bourbon And Cider

I need a main dish and desert recipe for dinner on saturday..?

Last saturday we maid Bourbon chicken (we used apple juice and cider instead of bourbon) over fried rice and a pound cake and it tasted great.
My sister and i are supposed to make dinner for the family again this saturday and we want it to taste great we need a main dish idea and a dessert.. if your willing to share recipes that would be great. We wanna a really good recipe this week better than last week.
Let me know if you have any favorite dishes.

MAIN DISH:
i love to make rotini pasta with some marinara sauce

take the skin of some hot italian sausage, crumble it up and sautee in a pan with a bit of olive oil and some chopped onions

add that to the pasta and sauce with some cut up fresh tomatoes and maybe some chopped basil

i serve it with sides of some hot bread and maybe sauteed zucchini with salt and pepper

DESSERT:
heat a pan with butter and some brown sugar, stir until combined and bubbly

add some sliced peaches and cook on medium high for a couple of minutes occasionally stirring

serve over vanilla ice cream
