Why did Stevie loose it?
me and my mates all went to college. Stevie was one of my mates (his name has been changed to protect the innocient). We all studied and partied hard and graduated. We all got good jobs / careers & business interests - Except Stevie.
Today, Stevie works now and then in factories as a labourer. He does not own his own home or have a wife + family. All in all, Stevie is now a middle aged man with nothing.
I feel sorry for Stevie. Every xmas I send him a food parcel with a bottle of whiskey. I have tried to figure WHY he did not make it in the world. He claims he is discriminated against because he is of ethnic origins - but I reckon that this is a total cop out of self responsibility in his case.
What can I do now to help Stevie?
Even though you did not get us enough information as to what he lost. At first, I thought maybe he developed a mental illness. If that is the case, that is life. If he is simply lazy, that is on him. You cannot become Jesus Christ to everyone. Some folk, and I know many, do not want anything out of life but a handout.
