If you were the #1 pick in the NFL draft, would you refuse to play for the Lions?

The owner William Clay Ford Sr. needs to be forced out of ownership. Being a Sam Bradford fan, if he gets drafted #1 by the Lions, I hope he refuses to play for the Lions, if that is an option.

There is NO way a player should refuse to play for any team.

Think about it, all teams will get better. The Tampa Bay Bucs were awful once, and recently won the Superbowl. Same thing with Saints, now they are very respectable. And in this market a team can make tons of improvement in a year.....look at this years ATL Falcons.

A QB coming out of college and going to the lions isnt so bad for many reasons....
1. Expectations are low....no one expects the team to make the playoffs next year, just that they get more copetative.
2. Great recievers... Either Colt, Sam or Matthew would love to throw to the tandem wideouts on Lions, espically Johnson.
3. New coach, with energy, and desire. Face it this team has most likely the worst "D" of alltime, but they have grown throughout the season. They were actually competative in several games as of late----don't count last weeks games.
4. Long term fans.....this city is ready and wants a good football team.

Lastly it is a life long dream to be a NFL player......so when your name is called you appreciate it and are thankful that the team picked you.
