It's Gosling's Family Reserve Old Rum. Has anyone tried it? Does anyone drink aged sipping rums? Would you pay $80 for it.

Personally, I'm not much of a rum drinker, though I've spend over $60 USD on a bottle of Scotch. For each spirit, rum, Scotch, Cognac, there are distinct qualities that connoisseurs will pay top dollar for. $80 isn't even close to a top dollar rum, either.
Even for the uninitiated (like me) there's a hugely noticeable difference between the high quality, aged sipping rums and the likes of Bacardi...to somebody it is indeed worth $80+
